This 1967 Plymouth GTX (chassis RS23J77114138) is described as an authentic factory hemi car, though it's now offered without an engine or trans. The previous owner ran the car with a non-original 1970 426, but that's long gone. Fortunately the car looks to be in ideal condition for restoration, retaining original hemi motor mounts, crossmember, and driveshaft. Find it here on eBay in Saint Louis, Missouri with reserve not met.

Says the seller: "Body is actually very solid, and I would say that 75% of the paint is original. The only rust is on the last inch of the bottom of both rear quarters, and floors, trunk, and frame are extremely solid. All gaps seem to be factory, and doors shut tight and firm. Years ago it looks like someone wanted to get oversized tires in the rear, where they hacked off the well lips." Paint is a bit rough, but the car looks complete with all trim, and for the most part bodywork seems straight.

The interior is said to remain mostly original, though the seller believes that the front seats may have been recovered with factory style materials at some point in the past. On the whole, condition looks very good, but the headliner is said to have a few small holes–fortunately all accessories are believed to be functional.

Here's where a 426 hemi was fitted from the factory, and where a 1970 date-stamped block resided until pulled by the previous owner. According to the seller, the car retains hemi-specific motor mounts, subframe, and driveshaft.

In addition to a new engine, a 727 TorqueFlite will be needed too, though a A833 4-speed swap wouldn't be a bad idea either.
