why would you want such a old, out dated machine that wont do the job that a foreman 400 or bigger would do??

you got to have a fuel pump on it to even make it run.
the straight front axle in my opinion is the most unstable setup for a quad

I love old vintage Honda Quads and ATCs and actually had 350 way back in 89/90 but it was the facelift version.
So more of a collectors item hence why I would like a rel nice one.
I wouldn't be selling the 450 for it!

i appreciate collecting old vintage stuff. (my girlfriend is 25)
but a honda foreman 350 is not something that i'd own. i see on another forum that guys absolutely love them, even more so than the 450's or 500's. i just think there something to park and look at. i've rode them and if i took them the places i've took my 500 it'd be on its top and i'd be dead. lol

It is like collecting old cars. Yes the new cars get better gas mileage and can turn better. Yes the new cars are faster (comparable models) but it is nice to have a fixed up old vintage item. I would buy it if I have space / room / money. LOL

Yeah i like old cars, trucks and tractors. But i don't really like the old fourwheelers like the 350 foremans and all. I have a 67 Ford F100 with a 352 big block in it and once i get it running, i think it might get better gas mileage than my dodge lol.

You had to really ride the old 350 with both the front and rear being solid axles. Lots of times you would be teetering on two wheels on the trail. They took a mile to turn around and rode like a tank but as as tough as one also. I plan on having another one someday but with a few modifications. I had 28x12 mudlites on my 87 Fourtrax (note the spelling rich..lol) and it pulled them stock with no problems, I installed a gear reduction and took it back out after one ride. There are many motor mods that can be done to it to really make them run since they shared many of the same parts as the ATC350X.

Yeah I had 17 trikes in total, sold a few lately but also bought a few more lol I have a couple of 250 Big Reds too and a really rare 88 model that Im doing a full nut and bolt restoration on.
Think that 350 you have is the same model I had, 89/90 on. Hard to find a real good here though.

well our txt is a bit of a odd one as it is a 1992. i read somewhere they stopped making them in 1990 but continued in canada until 92 so we think it has been imported to scotland. the front end is a bit different to any iv seen, the headlight can not be removed and used as a spotlight

Hondamechanic posted a picture of his years ago (he's from Canada) and it reminded me of a cross between the Fourtrax and the Foreman.

We have buried an '86, '89, and '91 350. I do not miss them and the TRX300FW was better in every way except for power. The 350 rode like a logging truck, was top heavy, and hurt more green operators when we were running hired men than any ATV I've seen.
That being said, they are a piece of Honda history, and were better than the competitors back then. I might own one again for fun, but only if it was pristine, as I hate obsolete parts.
For what it is worth, they also had one of the most badass looks to them at the time. Tough mean Honda. But I can honestly say I let the hired hands run the 350 and I always took the '87 TRX250ES. Last guy we took to the hospital with cracked ribs sealed the fate of the last 350 though and we replaced it with the 300 4X...
